Pop-Up Shop returns to vibrant Dukes Lane with independent artisanal brands

Following months of closure for many stores across the UK, successful pop-up marketplace The Pop-Up Club is returning to Brighton’s vibrant Dukes Lane.

Making over £140k in 2020 for its traders alone, the company curates pop-up markets and shop in empty spaces and units on the U.K’s High Streets, creating a fun and engaging space for local makers, artists and small brands to showcase and sell their crafts, clothing and accessories.

Founded in 2017 by entrepreneur Tillie Peel, the pop-up events company launches on the 3rd July 2021 for six weeks with over 40 diverse brands in store, many of which hail from the city itself.

In addition to supporting established independent brands, The Pop-Up Club provides a great opportunity to those who have used lockdown as an opportunity to turn side hustles into businesses. The pop ups also facilitates the increasing number of people who are looking to shop at independents to support small companies.

Taking over at 6 Dukes Lane the area is well known to locals as one of Brighton’s most vibrant hidden gems. A tranquil escape from the main city’s hustle and bustle, Dukes Lane offers a colourful and diverse community of independent and national stores.

Up by 15% since 6th June and a huge 46%[1] since early January when the country was in its third national lockdown Brighton’s retail footfall is showing signs of slowly returning to normal. As a city known for championing independent brands The Pop Up Club’s pop up at Dukes Lane will bring a colourful, eclectic and unique shopping experience to the area bringing in new customers looking to shop with interesting, independent brands and increasing dwell time amongst its existing shoppers.


Following a year where many of us have been shopping online and isolated from social interactions The Pop-Up Club provides the perfect opportunity for customers to engage with independent brands in person.

Many Brighton based businesses are taking part including environmentally friendly cotton hair accessories from Ellen + Grace, botanical inspired art and homeware from Rare & Wild and luxury refillable candles from Isle of Avalon among others.
