Last year’s Land Beyond was a real triumph in the face of post-Covid adversity. A sold-out crowd packed in and all the worries of the pandemic years were danced away with the likes of Kurupt FM live, SASASAS, Holy Goof, Tion Wayne, ABODE with Solardo and Hannah Wants all serving up standouts sets. It all goes down at the easy-to-access Waterhall Playing Fields, a wide-open green space that is transformed into an adult playground with epic stage designs, powerful sound systems and cutting-edge production.
This year, Land Beyond will offer camping for a fulsome experience lasting three epic days. It is the first camping festival to ever be approved in Brighton allowing for an exceptionally comprehensive musical experience from start to finish. The all new camping village will feature glamping tents, street food traders, ‘extra-curricular’ activities and an exclusive music stage allowing campers to carry on into the early hours.
A range of weekend camping tickets will be on sale from 10am, Tuesday 6th September at; https://www.landbeyondfestival.co.uk/. Anyone who signs up in advance will have access to those tickets from 10am, Monday 5th September.
Serving up the sounds are a mouthwatering mix of stage hosts including LOCUS! Rave, a sister label and party of the renowned London crew FUSE who have been pushing cutting edge deep house forwards for decades under the charge of boss Enzo Sirgagusa, DNB All Stars, who bring only the finest in jungle talent from across the ages, and CruCast, a label and party that hosts hundreds of events all around the world and cover all points on the bass, grime and d&b spectrum.
Also lining up is Disco Disco – a feel-good, inclusive party that brings plenty of cosmic colour from the 70s, 80s and right up to today and Grime Originals bring the freshest bars and hardest beats in the scene. A host of vital parties also bring authentic Afrobeat sounds, colours and culture to Brighton with renowned collectives Carpe Noctem and Don’t Lack amongst those representing.
For the best in British rap and its many genre spins off look no further than influential online community Mixtape Madness who join forces with R.U.M – Real Urban Music to host a stage together, as do top draw drum & bass parties Next Hype and Evolve who cover all shades from jungle to drum & bass to garage. Last but not least, Jack Your Body bring uplifting house and disco vibes from the last 30 years to exclusive venues around London, Ibiza and beyond.
“We’re delighted to welcome ravers to camp for the weekend at Land Beyond Festival in 2023. We believe it’s the first time an electronic music festival has offered camping in Brighton and we’re sure it will be a hit with locals and people from across the country alike. As well as announcing our stage hosts today, our weekend camping tickets also go on sale next week. We’ve got a huge lineup in store for 2023 and that will be released this Autumn.” Damien Fell – Land Beyond
