WORLD’S MOST FAMOUS DOG WHO STARS ALONGSIDE RICKY GERVAIS IN AFTER LIFE IS SUBJECT OF MOVING LOVE LETTER TO MY DOG FOR BRIGHTON’S BONE IDOL

The ‘world’s most famous dog’ is the latest star of a Brighton businesses’ unique series of love letters to treasured hounds.

Antilly The Wonder Hound, who is currently melting hearts alongside Ricky Gervais in the Netflix smash hit After Life, has appeared in Brighton dog-grooming business Bone Idol’s Love Letter To My Dog series.

In the moving love letter to Antilly, her owner and trainer Ashley Foster describes how he has cared for the famous dog since she was a tiny puppy, and all the adventures in film and TV they have enjoyed in her life as a ‘stunt dog’.

Speaking about her appearance on After Life Ashley said: “It is one of the few roles in her career where she isn’t playing a scary or dangerous dog, instead putting in a truly tear jerking performance as Brandy.”

He added: “If you want to see what she’s really like in her normal day to day life, After Life captures her personality perfectly.”

Antilly The Wonder Hound is not your average pet dog. Both her career in film and TV and her daring escapades are well documented.

In an impressive roster of A-List achievements, she has been described as ‘the best trained dog I’ve ever worked with’ by George Clooney, and has starred in scenes with Hollywood legends including Michael Fassbender and Ron Pearlman.

She becomes the latest star to take part in the popular Love Letters series, which appears on the www.boneidol.co.uk website, joining the likes of legendary music journalist Kris Needs, Olivier award-winning actor Adrian Scarborough and music producer Nina Walsh.

Bone Idol co-founder Scott Learmouth said: “At Bone Idol we love speaking to people about their dogs, and there are always so many unique and heart-felt stories. This is what gave us the idea for Love Letters, and a big thank you to Antilly for becoming our latest star.

“We have some amazing people lined up for Love Letters in 2022 including a very big name musician, so watch this space. What a wonderful way to start the year.”
