Hotel du Vin

Hotel Du Vins Parisian style bistro allows you to enjoy French cuisine like no other with their freshly baked baguettes, moules marinieres and classic cassoulet.

The hotel is a unique gem to the lanes as it presents a medieval style complete with gothic style gargoyles, a cosy courtyard, and a divine Tudor entrance.

Within the hotel is the bar and bistro, the lounge bar is luxurious with a dusty rose and velvet palette. Whilst the bistro is a spacious room coloured tiffany blue, enhanced by marble tables and candlelight.

The Du Vin Bar boasts over 100 whiskeys as well as an extensive cocktail menu, wines, and beers. With the most famous cocktail being “French 75.”

The bistro provides French cuisine which is renowned for bread, sauces, wines, and decadent desserts. The menu even caters for all, with vegetarian and vegan options.

To start there are many dishes to choose from, “Pan seared with Scallops” or “soft boiled Goosnargh duck egg”, both almost too pretty to eat. For the main, the best dish is the “Chateaubriand” with a large portion it is made for sharing. Lastly, for dessert- the “crème brulee and tarte au criton.” Two classics of French cuisine which cannot be missed.
