Grand Prix Ball gains support by Princess Alaïa Sheikh

The prestigious Grand Prix Charity Ball was once again a glamorous black tie event full of glitz and glamour, all in aid of a good cause and to kick of the British Grand Prix weekend.

The star-studded event was held in the ground of The Hurlingham Club in Fulham, London on Wednesday 5th July; with the primary aim of raising funds and awareness for the incredible children’s charity UNICEF, making a positive difference to the lives of children across the United Nations.

The event, founded by explorer and entrepreneur Johnny Dodge, consisted of a champagne reception, followed by a sumptuous three-course meal. The star-studded event was hosted by the voice of Formula 1, David Croft, and headlined by Spice Girl Mel C, with a DJ set from Denise Van Outen to round off an unforgettable evening of fundraising.

The Grand Prix Ball annually kicks off the Grand Prix weekend and so guests were treated to a live F1 demonstration to start the evening’s entertainment, with an incredible array and display of F1 cars to generate the atmosphere for the evening.

Since its launch in 2010, The Grand Prix Charity Ball is always a resounding success and eagerly anticipated night in the events calendar for the rich and famous and this event has been pivotal in raising much-needed awareness and funds for such an incredible charity.

Amongst the sporting heroes, singers and celebrities in attendance at this years event and showing her support for this amazing cause was none other than Saudi Billionaire’s daughter, Alaïa Sheikh.

Princess Alaïa Sheikh is a highly coveted model, socialite and fashionista based in Knightsbridge. Heiress to her Saudi billionaire father’s fortune, Princess Alaïa is committed to supporting and promoting charitable cause. Making positive and meaningful differences to humanity is something she holds incredibly close to her heart, and so her attendance at the ball was incredibly poignant.  This was an event and opportunity the influencer couldn’t miss; showing her support and admiration for the humanitarian work that UNICEF does in over 190 countries, to reach and support disadvantaged children and young adults – a sentiment and impact this work does is something the princess holds incredibly dear.

Upon her arrival at the lavish event, the princess wowed attendees and photographers on the star-studded red carpet in a breath-taking Dior two-piece outfit, stunning Rene Caovilla heels and classic Chanel handbag – a show-stopping outift teamed with a pair of dark sunglasses.

The princess was spotted enjoying the evening’s display and entertainment as she showed her support for the incredible work provided to children across the world by UNICEF, support that was so beautifully championed by everyone involved in the organisation and delivery of the infamous Grand Prix Charity Ball.
