Premium Spanish beer brand Estrella Galicia is excited to announce the launch of its inaugural nationwide Gastronomy Month, taking place throughout September 2021. The month-long exploration of Spanish gastronomy will be celebrated across London, The South East, The North, Scotland, The South West, Wales and Ireland at the nation’s most exciting Spanish restaurants. Diners will journey through the world of Spanish gastronomy and have the opportunity to meet great chefs and learn about food and beer pairing whilst enjoying tasting menus, tapas tours, special paired menus hosted by Estrella Galicia Chef Ambassadors as well as at-home experiences.

Each event will celebrate the range of Estrella Galicia beers as the perfect pairing to the very best of Spanish Gastronomy. It’s commonplace to enjoy a wine flight with food, so discover the abilities of top quality beers to elevate a dining experience.

At a time when many people are feeling the absence of Spanish holidays, Estrella Galicia is determined to host a celebration of Spanish gastronomy like no other, championing the UK’s burgeoning Spanish food scene. Estrella Galicia brand ambassadors Nieves Barragán Mohacho (Sabor, London), Monika Linton (Brindisa, London), Angel Zapata Martin (Barrafina, London), Owen Morgan (44 Group, Cardiff), Daniel Keane (Urban Brewing, Dublin), Gustavo Marin (The Embassay, Manchester) and Miguel Angel Mayor (Rioja, Glasgow) – will join some of the UK’s finest Spanish restaurants in immersing diners into the deep rooted culture of Spanish cuisine, perfectly paired with the full range of Estrella Galicia beers from the lighter 0,0 to the heavier Black Coupage, each beer has unique characteristics that lend themselves to a range of cuisines.


Moments throughout the month include ticketed weekend tapas tours held in London, Newcastle, Brighton and Bristol: the perfect opportunity to discover a number of the city’s best tapas bars in one day, enjoying small plates paired perfectly with Estrella Galicia beer – Bristol’s Longest Lunch Tapas Tour will see guests hop from Bar 44 to Gambas Tapas on a private boat, making for an unforgettable experience. A range of tasting menus will be hosted by Estrella Galicia Chef Ambassadors at the best Spanish restaurants including the newly opening Rioja in Glasgow, The Embassy in Hale and Urban Brewing in Dublin. Some will be tapas-style and some a little more formal but all designed to transport the senses to Spain with each course, served alongside a selection of Estrella Galicia beer pairings. Throughout the month, special menus will be available at all participating restaurants offering exclusive dishes and beer pairings, and of course for those unable to visit, there will be a special at-home masterclass experience in conjunction with leading Spanish restaurant Iberica.
