The Curry Leaf Café invites you to enjoy award winning South-Indian street food, expertly spiced curries, tandoor-grilled specialities, and incredible authentic spiced desserts, with a terrific range of craft beer.
With their Ship Street Location, the café has the colour scheme of greens, oranges, and yellows to make a vibrant atmosphere. One of its best features being the beautiful mural on one of the back walls, which depicts the Hindi goddess of food, Annapurna.
Being one of Brighton’s most loved Indian restaurants, co-founders Euan Sey and Kanthi Kiran Thama are proud to claim they have won awards, especially for their incredible authentic South Indian street food which Head Chef Gouranga Bera introduced.
The drinks menu includes their very own craft beer with 22 to choose from including a range of alcohol-free beer. They stock a variety of wines, including the stunning Sauvignon Blanc from South India.
The food menu includes many starters, like “Goan Pork Ribs” or “Samba Vadas”, and for the main course, “Lucknow Lamb” and “Goan Green Chicken” both delicious curries, or “Vegetable Jaipuri” a perfect option for vegetarians. Finally, for dessert they serve, “Gulab Jamoons” alongside ice cream fitting with the authentic Indian theme.
